"Senator Kennedy had a grand vision for America, and an unparalleled ability to effect change. Ted Kennedy's dream of quality health care for all Americans will be made real this year because of his leadership and his inspiration."
First of all, no it won't. This is so typical of liberal philosophy. "I know better than you. And I can just go ahead and create policy that you don't really want or need." Those town hall meetings that Democrats are hell bent on discrediting are proof that their plan needs major, MAJOR work before it becomes even tolerable for many Americans. She seems to forget that she doesn't get to just make shit up and then have it become law. There's a process. This isn't a dictatorship, it's a democracy you self righteous, leathery faced, Californian cunt.
Second of all, just because someone wants something bad enough does not mean that it just all of the sudden happens. Have you read that shit Oprah's been hawking for a few years, The Secret? The basic philosophy of that book is: hope really hard and you can have whatever you want with little or no effort. It bears mentioning, too, that they made a movie out of that book. How fucking lazy do you have to be? Of course, the demographic that this method of "success" appeals to would be too lazy to read a damn book. So that was probably a good call.
Third of all, Teddy didn't have an "unparalleled ability to effect change." Unless by, "effect change" she meant "not piss people off and actually compromise every once in a while." Unfortunately for Speaker Pelosi, Kennedy would have been one of the best people to get this whole health care reform business back on track. He was passionate about it, and the general public didn't hate his guts and despise him like we do her and her asshole buddy Harry Reid.
Honestly, I see little to no difference between what the Democrats I'm sure will do with the death of Ted Kennedy and what the family of Michael Jackson did when he died. Which is to use the passing of another human being to further their own selfish agenda. Both parties (Dems and Jacksons I mean) should be ashamed. Perhaps if they took a few pages from his philosophy on policy making instead of pimping out his memory, they might get something real accomplished.
