I go on psychotic rants about random shit on a regular basis. A lot of times these rants revolve around selfish people who think that they are way more important than they actually are. Naturally I decided to post these rants in a blog for everyone to see because I think that I am way more important than I actually am. Expect low brow commentary on any and everything with a liberal use of the word douchebag. And lots of commas. Lots and lots of commas.

Why did it have to be the ugly one?

Kim and Kourtney Kardashian (pictured, you're welcome) are both ridiculously hot. Their sister Khloe (not pictured, you're welcome) is not. But guess who my favorite one is? The one who probably gets confused for Shrek. But why would the ugly one be my favorite you ask? I'll tell you. You see I've done a couple (seriously, like probably 3 or 4) altruistic things in my life and one of them is raising funds for and participating in Penn State's Dance Marathon. THON raises money for the Four Diamonds Fund which helps support children who suffer from cancer. It is a 48 46 hour event held every February at Penn State. No sitting, no sleeping, no kidding.

It is the most moving event I have ever had the opportunity to be a part of. And it is as uplifting as it is heartbreaking to spend a weekend with the kids who are stronger than any adult I have ever met in my life. This event, while being the largest student run philanthropy in the world is one that you actually rarely hear about outside of Pennsylvania. Naturally becaue it is important to me it should be just as important for everyone else and that's why I was very excited when I heard that Khloe Kardashian took to her blog and Twitter account in order to raise awareness of the event and solicit donations from her fans.

All it takes is a little bit of awareness of THON to sell you on it for life. I have yet to meet anyone who has had the opportunity to visit Penn State over THON weekend and not become a supporter of the cause which is, of course, the cure. So go watch the video below, visit the THON webpage then go to THON.org to make your donation. If you don't, I have no choice but to assume that you don't want sick kids to get better. (Wait, was that a guilt trip? Yes. Yes it was.)
