Hypocritical Irony

I go on psychotic rants about random shit on a regular basis. A lot of times these rants revolve around selfish people who think that they are way more important than they actually are. Naturally I decided to post these rants in a blog for everyone to see because I think that I am way more important than I actually am. Expect low brow commentary on any and everything with a liberal use of the word douchebag. And lots of commas. Lots and lots of commas.

Yup... Billy Mays was more important than other news too!!

Every morning I wake up and ride an exercise bike. (I know, normally I would make fun of a dude riding an exercise bike too, but I broke my leg in three places and can't run any more so back the fuck off.) While I ride I will often watch the news. As I started to ride this morning I was about to click on MSNBC's Morning Joe when I paused for a minute and thought, "I swear to god if I turn on the news and I see that raving lunatic Billys Mays' face my head is going to explode." Welp...



At Penn State I studied broadcast journalism. I must have missed "Celebrities Get Top Billing In The News No Matter What 101." Ed McMahon. Fara Fawcett. Michael Jackson. Billy Mays. For an entire week you could not turn on the news without seeing a retrospective on the life and times of some ass hole who hi-jacked the news because they stopped breathing. Do not misinterpret this reaction as insensitivity to the death of another person. All four are tragic in their own right, but there are more important things going on in the world today than four entertainers passing away.

    3/4 of those headlines are wastes of time.
    McMahon: publisher's clearing house?
    Fawcett: ALWAYS complaining.
    Mays: sucked social security checks from old ladies

    MJ, Thriller aside, he donated & raised hundreds of millions 4 charity while he went broke & people took him to court amidst factless charges 4 their personal gain.

    Plus, I'd rather listen to Off The Wall on tv instead of getting depressed about Kim Jung Il...
